This sample application shows how you can use satellite, aerial or almost any type of raster images to make great looking maps.

By using ImageLayer(s) in Map Suite you can add TIF, GEOTIFF, MrSID, JPEG, BMP images to your maps very easily.  Be sure to explore the Grey Scale, Negative, Transparency and Color Value options on the ImageLayer to setup a good mixture between your raster and vector data.
